Why, hello.
I'm Ben Breier. I'm 24, and I live in Brooklyn, New York where I work as a freelance web producer for LifetimeTV.
I've spent the past couple of years of my life as a political reporter for The New York Observer's Politicker as well as Inside Washington Publishers based out of Washington D.C. When I was laid off from Politicker in December of 2008, it forced me to re-evaluate my career and find new ways to put my skill-set to use.
I also worked as a freelance reporter for the Cleveland Free Times Cleveland Scene, where I wrote about lots of fun indie bands. I also wrote about fashion, music and general pop culture for BrightestYoungThings in Washington D.C.

My friends call me a hater. Although I don't fancy myself as an overly critical asshole, I definitely have a very particular taste: hence the title of this blog. This blog is meant to be a place where I can wax about whatever I want without truly being bound to any themes.
